The extraordinary story of BURNNESHA, comes from the painter and author Albana Osmani in a cycle of oil paintings on canvas. This painting was made in 2017 and it has an extraordinary story. The girl has forced herself to be the "PROTECTOR OF THE FAMILY " , based on the customs of the Kanun, turns into a boy and lives her whole life as a virgin, depriving herself of the right to marry or create a family of her own. Some of them, according to history in Albania, they vow to live to protect their family from murderers for blood feud. This cycle of paintings is based on the true and extraordinary history of ALBANIAN WOMEN.
